Vallerie & Brandon|Long Beach Island wedding

Vallerie & Brandon met in high school and went their separate ways. Years later they reconnected and the rest, as they say, is history. They chose to have a small wedding with only the closest of friends and family present to witness their vows. The oceanfront on Long Beach Island provided the perfect backdrop for their intimate ceremony.

I love this photo, taken while her sister was bustling her gown…

Dad stirring up emotions…

As sometimes happens on wedding days, things were running a bit late so I did the bridal portraits as the dress was being laced up! Couldn’t have asked for better results…

Note Dad’s post-ceremony relief…

I think this is one of my favorite group portraits ever…

Yeah, I liked this situation so much that I had to post one in color too…

Couldn’t pass this up when the lifegaurds were wandering by…

Vallerie and Brandon, thanks so much for sharing your day! Val you were definitely one of the calmest, coolest brides ever!

Ketty & Marc|The Madison Hotel – Morristown, NJ

When we first met, Ketty was finishing up her MBA in Chicago, planning her wedding and preparing for a move back to New Jersey. With all that on her plate she was totally calm, cool and collected… just like she was on her wedding day. She and  Marc were married in the beautiful atrium at The Madison Hotel in Morristown, NJ and the grounds of Fairleigh Dickinson provided a great backdrop for portraits of the bridal party.

Hair by Creations Salon, make up by Larissa Roig and flowers by Conroy’s…

I’m happy to do jumping photos if the couple requests them and this bridal party jumped like pros. We did three takes, but really only needed one…

For the history buffs… the mansion on the grounds of Fairleigh Dickinson was built in the 1890s for Florence Vanderbilt, granddaughter of Commodore Cornelius Vanderbilt, renowned as the richest man in America, and her husband, financier Hamilton McKown Twombly. They called the estate “Florham”, a combination of their first names, and the surrounding grounds were designed by landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted…

The first dance…

Had a great time with you both on your wedding day! Best of luck for years to come…

Morgan & Paul|The Park Savoy – Florham Park, NJ

After photographing Morgan & Paul’s engagement session in Hoboken last year, I knew the bride would be grinning from ear to ear her whole wedding day. We did a few semi-serious photos too…

Becky & Joe|Basking Ridge Country Club

Becky and Joe were married outside on the grounds of Basking Ridge Country Club. There was a slight threat of rain the entire day… until the ceremony, when the clouds dispersed to reveal a blue sky and beautiful afternoon light.

A sneak peek at a few of my favorites…

A perfect spot for photos…

Becky & Joe were surrounded by truly wonderful friends and family the entire day…

The speeches are becoming one of my favorite parts of the wedding day…

A big thanks to Becky & Joe, and the great staff at Basking Ridge Country Club.
